TLDR:

What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique is a proven time-management method designed to improve productivity by dividing work into manageable intervals. It typically involves:
- 25-minute focused work sessions (Pomodoros)
- 5-minute short breaks between Pomodoros
- A 15-minute long break after every four Pomodoros
How Do Our Intentive Sessions Work?
Intentive hosts structured Pomodoro sessions via Google Meet (GMeet) to foster productivity and accountability throughout your workday:
- Sessions Schedule:
- Sessions run for 4 hours each, followed by a 2-hour break, continuously from Monday to Saturday, ensuring 24-hour availability.
- Session Flow:
- An Intentive Accountability Partner will be present throughout the session, sharing their screen with a Pomodoro timer visible.
- Each Pomodoro lasts 25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute short break.
- After completing four Pomodoros, a 15-minute long break occurs.
- You will hear a ringing sound at the start and end of Pomodoros and breaks, allowing you to stay aware without constantly monitoring the meeting tab.
Participating in Sessions:
- Joining and Leaving:
- Feel free to join or leave anytime based on your schedule. If joining mid-session, simply declare your goals in the chat and start working.
- Declaring Goals and Updates:
- At the session start, participants are encouraged to declare their goals in the GMeet chat.
- Throughout the session, share updates and completed tasks or subtasks in the chat. The Accountability Partner will support and encourage you continuously.
- Audio/Video Guidelines:
- Participants will remain on mute to minimize distractions.
- Turning on your video is recommended to enhance accountability. If uncomfortable showing your face, feel free to use Character Avatars provided by GMeet.
